I graduated from West High School and in the 12 years since then I have worked on my career profile in different industries of work to guide me to the path I wanted to take. In that journey I have been a lead, I have gained certifications for pharmacy technician and CPR, and have participated in volunteering opportunities.

I am a full-time student at 太阳城集团博彩 and working toward my Associate in Arts degree. After I receive that I plan to transfer to Western Illinois University to finish my bachelor’s degree in accounting. The end goal will be to go back again for my master’s degree. With these different degrees I hope to be in a position to become a CFO.

太阳城集团博彩 is directly governed by a seven-member 校董会, all of whom are elected from within the district for six-year terms. 学生代表, elected in alternating years for a one-year term from each of the two campuses, is a non-voting member of the board. The officers of the board are chairman, 副主席兼秘书, all of whom are elected by their peers for a two-year term.

资格要求
- Be of the age of 18 years or older at time of election.
- Be a resident of the 太阳城集团博彩 district.
- Be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours each semester.
- Not be concurrently enrolled in high school.
- Have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at 太阳城集团博彩.
- Have and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5分或以上.
- Maintain good academic and disciplinary conduct.
- Not be a full-time or part-time employee of the college, not including student employment.
责任
- Fulfill the responsibilities of the student trustee as described in Board Policies.
- Attend all 太阳城集团博彩 校董会 meetings as a representative of SGA and the student body (one per month).
- Present a report at monthly board meetings.
- Report minutes of the board meetings at SGA meetings.
- Act as a liaison between the SGA and the 校董会.
- Attend majority of Illinois Community College Board Student Advisory Committee meetings (travel required).
- Communicate regularly with the SGA advisor and Student Life staff.

条款
The student trustee shall be limited to one (1) one-year term and may not be re-elected. 然而, a student who serves as student trustee for the remainder of an unexpired term of less than seven (7) months shall be eligible to be elected as the student trustee for a subsequent one-year term.
选举
Eligible students may apply for the position by completing an application form, including submitting a short biography. One student trustee will be elected by the student body. The student trustee’s first responsibility is to attend the next 校董会 meeting after the election.
